ToR – Event Coverage, Videography, and Photography at Ipas Nigeria

Background

Over the years, Ipas worked to actualize gender equality, good health, and well-being as part of the SDG goals. We have worked to ensure women and girls have bodily autonomy by expanding access to abortion, by introducing life-saving reproductive health technologies and systems around the world, allowing them to determine their own sexuality.

The global movement for abortion rights have evolved to focus on abortion as a human rights and justice issue, not only a public health issue, we recognize that having the right to contraceptive choices and safe abortion when needed isn’t enough—because we face economic, cultural, religious, and systemic barriers that prevent us from accessing these rights.

As we evolve our organization from a traditional NGO model to a global network with shared leadership, our brand update reflects our ongoing effort to put power in the hands of the people closest to our work. In recognition of various intersections, we remain resolutely focused on strengthening the rights of people to access reproductive justice by transforming ecosystems, and challenging policies and norms that limit women and girls to act on their sexual reproductive and health needs through our abortion, voluntary contraception, and sexual gender-based violence programming.

Objectives of the Task

The aim of this assignment is to provide a digital team for the execution of digital and entertainment services at the Ipas rebrand launch event.

Output

  • Support in the production of a multimedia video unveiling the new brand.
  • Support with the livestreaming of the event using our IPAS zoom link
  • Support with the brand unveiling and related aesthetic (smoke (low fog) and firecrackers/works)
  • Provide four large LED Screens.
  • Provide cameras that can capture various activities simultaneously at the event.
  • Provide a complete sound and lighting effects adequate coverage of event proceedings.
  • Provide multimedia control panel/cables, microphone and speakers
  • Provide photograph services with a complete edited soft copy folder
  • Provide a hard copy 12 pages photobook
  • Provide an easy to watch 10 minutes clip of the event
  • Provide a complete video recording of the event
  • Provide Disk Jockey Services.
  • Provide efficient internet/wifi service during the press conference.

Location and duration of the consultancy

  • The consultant will be working in Abuja.
  • The duration of the consultancy is from 11am (for set-up and equipment test) to 9 pm (expected end of the event)
  • 1 workday.

Competence Requirements

The consultant should have experience and knowledge:

  • Advanced skills in Event Coverage, Videography, and Photography
  • Efficient and effective skilled staff
  • Consultant must have the required equipment for successful execution of duties
  • Timekeeping
  • Ownership of multimedia equipment
  • Registered business with TIN Number/Certificate
  • Invoice and Receipts
